Nestled in the picturesque foothills of the Sierra Nevada, Sierra Réalta Cellars is proud to call Somerset, in Fair Play, El Dorado County, its home. Our estate-grown wines are crafted exclusively from the rich bounty of our very own Sierra Moon Vineyards, a 22-acre gem established in 2000. Rooted in this vibrant region, we focus on cultivating premium Rhône varietals, including Syrah Noir, Petite Syrah, Syrah 877, Zinfandel, Marsanne, Roussanne, and Viognier.
Our Vineyards
Sierra Moon Vineyards benefits from a unique combination of decomposed granite and sandy loam soils, hallmark traits of the Sierra Nevada Foothills. These well-draining soils encourage our vines to develop deep, robust roots, ensuring they absorb essential nutrients and water efficiently. The mineral-rich terrain imparts subtle, elegant notes to our wines—particularly the whites like Viognier—making every sip an exploration of the land’s character.

2023 Sierra Réalta Rose
FAIR PLAY, SIERRA FOOTHILLS
Deep salmon pink in color, bright and vibrant sparkle, seduces from first pour. Expressive zesty nose, with a bouquet of red apples, pink grapefruit and wild strawberry.
The fruit continues to shine as flavors of bing cherry, lemon custard and honeysuckle take hold.
2023 CELESTIAL WHITE
FAIR PLAY, SIERRA FOOTHILLS
Pale gold in color, this traditional Rhone-Style blend offers intense aromatics, bright acidity, and elegant mouthfeel.
The nose opens with ripe pear and apple jolly ranchers. Minerality and nuttiness pop across the palate as it finishes with the toasted spice and crème brûlée of French Oak.
2023 Sierra Réalta Zinfandel
FAIR PLAY, SIERRA FOOTHILLS
Distinctly Zinfandel on the nose and palate, the varietal charachter is rich with candied fruit, cranberry, and plum on both the nose and palate.
Lightly aged using French and American Oak, the jammy and bold dark fruit is balanced with the sweet licoriceand a hint of tobacco spice.
2024 CELESTIAL WHITE
FAIR PLAY, SIERRA FOOTHILLS
This Rhône-style white blend dazzles with aromatics of tropical pineapple and delicate ripe banana.
Hints of citrus zest add vibrancy, while subtle notes of apricot and honeysuckle lend elegance and depth. Bright acidity elevates the palate, leading to a fresh, polished finish that’s both crisp and refined.
